Spirit Week Schedule

Let’s Celebrate Reading!

Tuesday, February 17: Parent-Teacher Conferences & Book Fair Kick-off

We are excited to open our Book Fair doors early during Parent-Teacher Conferences! This is a special opportunity for families to explore our collection together.

How it Works: Once you have completed your scheduled meeting, your child’s teacher will provide you with a special voucher (ticket) for a free book.

Instructions: After your conference, head over to the Book Fair with your child to redeem your voucher and pick out your favorite title together. It’s the perfect way to start our week of reading!

Goal: To encourage family engagement in literacy and give students a head start on their reading journey.

Wednesday, February 18: Animal Print Day

Let’s get "wild" about reading! We are kicking off our Spirit Week with a safari of stories.

Instruction: Students are invited to wear their favorite animal prints to school. Whether it’s leopard spots, zebra stripes, tiger prints, or simply a shirt featuring your favorite animal, come ready to explore the jungle of imagination found in our Book Fair!

Goal: To celebrate the diversity of nature and the exciting adventures found in books.

Thursday, February 19: Favorite Book Character Day

Bring your favorite stories to life! This is the highlight of our week where the halls are filled with heroes, explorers, and legends.

Instruction: Dress up as a character from a book you love! We encourage students to be creative and, if possible, bring the book that inspired their costume to share with their classmates during reading time.

Goal: To foster a deeper connection between students and the characters that inspire them to read.

Friday, February 20: Blue Day & School Spirit

United in Faith and Learning. We close our Book Fair week by celebrating our amazing school community.

Instruction: It’s time to paint the campus blue! Wear the color blue from head to toe—show off your school colors with pride. From hats to socks, let’s see a sea of blue as we wrap up our book-filled week.

Goal: To build school spirit and celebrate the joy of learning together as one family.

USE YOUR CREATIVITY!
